The Yes Factor - Video Course
As a woman, you work hard to meet the needs of other people. But, when it comes to your needs, does no one seem to notice?
Do you feel like your opinions and dreams get pushed to the back-burner? Do you frequently say “yes,” while it seem like others get to say “no”?
Like most women, you want to care for the people around you. You want to be a good friend, loving parent, helpful colleague, respectful daughter, thoughtful sister, and caring spouse. You want to experience healthy “give-and-take” in your relationships, while knowing that someone will show concern for your needs. But, like many women, do you feel this way instead:
• Do you feel trapped by all of the needs around you?
• Do you feel like a pushover that people walk on or take advantage of?
• Do you feel stuck between harboring resentment and guilt when saying "no"?
Even worse, do you beat yourself up on the inside for feeling this way?
You don't have to live this way any longer.

Did you know?
There’s a secret to saying “no” that women aren’t told.
Most women are never taught how to bring their own needs into their relationships. But, it’s a process that any woman can learn.
If you struggle with feeling overwhelmed, resentful, or guilty, there is hope. If you wrestle with expressing your own opinion, needs, or concerns, you can grow stronger. You can learn to value yourself in the same way that God values you.
However, there is a secret to setting boundaries that is hidden from most women.
Part of the problem is that most teaching about boundaries is written by men. As women, we are different. We view relationships differently than men. We are held to different expectations than men.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to learn how to set boundaries from a woman’s perspective?
will show you how to:
• Make sure people understand what you need in a relationship
• Stick to your “no” even when someone reacts with anger or disappointment
• Identify and counter toxic behavior
• Plan an exciting future of saying “yes” to life-giving opportunities
"Alison Cook has given us a great gift that will help women gain greater self-awareness and newfound self-control over those unruly thoughts and feelings that threaten to derail our life and relationships."

Learn from the expert who has helped women across America transform their lives through the power of boundaries.
Hi, I’m Dr. Alison Cook.
For over 20 years, I’ve helped hundreds of women discover how to set healthy boundaries. I’d like to show you how to regain control over your decisions, stop beating yourself up, and experience God’s wonderful purpose for your life.
I love helping women learn how to take overwhelming issues and boil them down into simple steps. I don’t just tell you “what” to do or “why” you should do it. I show you HOW to turn life-changing ideas into action.
In addition, I incorporate my Christian faith into everything that I teach. I didn’t just study psychology. I studied how to integrate psychology with biblical principles. I specialize in helping women develop healthy boundaries from a faith-based perspective.
Just like you, the concept of setting boundaries didn’t come easy. I’ve also wrestled with saying “no” in my most important relationships. But, I discovered the little-known secret that changes everything. I’d like to show you the same exciting truths that bring peace, freedom, and joy.
My education includes a B.A. at Dartmouth College, M.A. in counseling from Denver Seminary, and I earned my Ph.D. in religion and psychology from the University of Denver. I am also the co-author of Boundaries for Your Soul: How to Turn Your Overwhelming Thoughts and Feelings into Your Greatest Allies (Thomas Nelson Publishers), which provides a step-by-step approach to manage your emotions in partnership with God.
I’ve studied, taught, and counseled women on setting boundaries for over two decades. I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with you in the Boundaries for Women video course.
